Il cameriere che scrive sul Giornale del padrone notoriamente non è uno di quei cronisti che gli vogliono bene come a un parente stretto... ma dopo Ucraina-Italia di ieri sera all'Olimpiyskiy di Kiev, ha dovuto suo malgrado reclinare il capo e attingere le migliori risorse d'ipocrisia italiota (in salsa fuggè) per darsi ragione dei novanta minuti da incubo che «il caro, vecchio Sheva» ha fatto trascorrere ai miserabili Campioni del Mondo.Tant'è, gli è toccato scrivere di uno «strepitosto Shevchenko». Chiosando: «Tutto suo il merito della orgogliosa risposta ucraina. Fra traversa, punizioni al fulmicotone e quel gol maturato a metà della ripresa, ce n’è abbastanza per lustrarsi gli occhi e per far sapere a Mourinho che il suo è un pregiudizio intollerabile». Per riportare la cronaca nei confini della realtà, devo dire che il Balon d'Or non è stato letteralmente strepitoso, certo ancora distante dai livelli d'eccellenza che avevano incantato San Siro e il mondo. Ma ha dimostrato una condizione atletica più che dignitosa, reggendo costantemente il peso dell'attacco sulle proprie gambe: altro che postumi d'infortunio e difetto di forma! Sheva ha dato come sempre tutto di sè, spesso predicando nel deserto d'una poco più che volenterosa compagine d'altri tempi (con il libero schierato dietro la linea difensiva... e il pericoloso Voronin relegato in panchina). Secondo tradizione, ha fatto tremare i polsi e poi piegare la schiena al Gobbo di Manchester. Mentre a noi - a tutti noi che ancora abbiamo e sempre avremo il 7 Rossonero in fondo al cuore - ha fatto tremare altro che i polsi... un gol di Sheva era e resta un gol tutto nostro, come un gol del Milan.

Quante volte, nel corso di un'INTERMINABILE ESTATE punteggiata da un'estenuante campagna-acquisti, ho espresso il mio desiderio di RIVEDERE Sheva in rosso-nero! I miei COMMENTI si intrecciavano A) con quelli - più o meno "sentimentali" che ne auspicavano il ritorno all'ovile B) con quelli - ancora una volta sentimentali, ma di SEGNO OPPOSTO - che lo DETESTAVANO per "manifesto tradimento". A me intanto fa enorme piacere l'AVERLO VISTO VIVO! vivo più che mai! Duellare magnificamente con la DIFESA dei Campioni del Mondo, con il "portiere PIU' GRANDE del Mondo", sferrare tiri su AZIONE e su PUNIZIONE che erano da Grande Bomber! Il mio SHEVA non si è affatto disintegrato. Siamo sinceri: siamo stati pressati tutta la partita, in difesa eravamo schiacciati e imprecisi, ci siamo salvati più volte grazie soprattutto a Buffon. Era una partita in cui contava solo il risultato, che con due guizzi dei soliti noti (Pirlo su tutti, ma anche Ambrosini, Di Natale, Zambrotta mi son parsi i migliori in campo - oltre buffon) ha fatto risultato. Sheva sempre devastante in attacco, ea l'anima della manovra offensiva ucraina. Sotto con la Georgia adesso!

Ma com'e che nel Chelsea non gioca mai e ancora un grande eppure il suo mister simpatia scusate ma lo vede in allenamento corre due volte piu di Cannavaro che non è certo il piu lento del mondo fisicamente e ancora al top e poi ha sempre quel tiro fenomenale rimpiango ancora il suo tradimento peccato. Parlando della nazionale come sempre Ambro e una garanzia da quando finalmente non ha piu infortuni gravi e puo giocare con continuita Pirlo e un fenomeno della regia e gli inserimenti di un giocatore che finalmente corre tra gli spazi permette ai suoi lanci di andare a segno... punta dolente sono i centrali Cannavaro non puo reggere da solo Barzagli non ha esperienza internazionale se non spicchi di mondiale in germania e timido ed impacciato speriamo acquisisca un po piu di tranquillita nei prossimi tempi futuri...

Ma questo Shevchenko è quello che non trova spazio a Londra???... Mah.
Esiste ancora il tifo milanista genuino! Mentre sui siti sumiani ci si arrotola intorno alla conferenza stampa della ciste Ronaldo e non si dedica una riga a chi ha tenuto in piedi l'attacco del Milan in centinaia di partite, altrove trovano sfogo i genuini sentimenti dei milanisti veri. E per veri intendo quelli che alla società danno passione, soldi, abbonamenti e non fruiscono di benefici in trasferte nazionali ed europee. Vedremo le indagini della Procura di Milano riusciranno ad aprire uno squarcio di luce in questo ambiente sempre più torbido e nauseante.
Quanto al caro vecchio Sheva l'augurio di trovare presto un vero allenatore, una vera società dove spendere i preziosi spiccioli che restano della sua sua stupenda carriera, di cui abbiamo avuto l'onore di godere la tratta più esaltante.

15/09/2007 - Mourinho non si smentisce mai e anche quando ammette di essersi ricreduto su Shevchenko non la dà vinta del tutto...
"Succede sempre che i Ct delle nazionali scelgano i giocatori che fanno bene nel club - ha sentenziato il tecnico del Chelsea - Ma può avvenire anche il contrario. Io ad esempio questa volta scelgo Shevchenko perchè ha fatto molto bene con l'Ucraina. Contro l'Italia ha disputato una buona gara, forse perchè conosceva già i giocatori avversari e aveva addosso gli occhi degli italiani. In ogni caso mi ha fatto ricredere, ha giocato 80 minuti intensi, la sua partita non va giudicata solo per il goal. Spero che ora possa fare lo stesso anche per il Chelsea".

SHEVCHENKO GIVEN DESAILLY BACKING
Former Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly insists the club's misfiring striker Andriy Shevchenko will come good.
"Shevchenko is a top player and does not need to prove himself," Desailly told BBC Sport.
"For the moment, he is not performing. Let's wait and I'm sure he will help Chelsea win the Champions League."
He added: "Shevchenko has Champions League experience. He likes to be the one that everyone is focused on.
"I'm sure that with the Champions League everyone will look at him and the motivation can come from there.
"Also, he feels like he came to Chelsea to win things. Last year, although it was good, they only won the two cups domestically and he needs more."
Shevchenko made his first outing of the season for Chelsea against Blackburn on Saturday and showed little sign of improving on the disappointing form of last term.
The Ukraine international scored just four Premier League goals and three in the Champions League during last season following a £30m move from another of Desailly's former clubs, AC Milan.
On Saturday he missed two gilt-edged chances against Blackburn as Chelsea drew 0-0.
Desailly believes restoring Shevchenko's confidence is key to getting the best out of him.
"It is very difficult to leave AC Milan because it is a family club," added the former France international, who has been organising a Laureus charity match between a Marcel Desailly XI and Chelsea select team to be played at Stamford Bridge on 10 October.
"When you leave a club like that you need time to set up psychologically and he had a lot of problems to adapt himself to the English game and a new club.
"Even if you are a top player you might lose a bit in terms of you condition.
"As soon as he gets his confidence you will see the difference. He will be a different player."
Chelsea begin their Champions League campaign against Rosenborg on Tuesday and Desailly believes the club need to win the competition to rubberstamp their status as one of the world's biggest clubs.
"The consideration of Chelsea now around the world is that they are a club who have already won the Champions League but it's not the case," stated Desailly.
"Chelsea have not won the Champions League once and we are giving them too much consideration. That's why this year they have to win it.
"For the last two years they have reached the semi-finals but it is not enough. We are expecting more with the quality of the team they have.
"I don't know if they can win it this year because there are plenty of major teams in the competition.
"We cannot say anything at the moment because Chelsea are not at a high level yet. They are not at the level to make the difference. But let's wait."
Former England skipper Alan Shearer believes Shevchenko is underperforming because he "does not feel loved" at Chelsea.
"We don't know whether he was the manager's signing or not and he's having a tough time," Shearer told BBC1's Match of the Day programme.
"He's come in and is certainly not the player we saw at Milan a couple of years' ago.
"Just have a look at the reaction of Mourinho (when Shevchenko missed a second-half chance against Bleckburn) - this is what tells me he's not loved at Chelsea.
"He's just not happy with him, is he? The problem is he doesn't feel loved at Chelsea."

LAST CHANCE FOR SHEVCHENKO
September 15, 2007 - ANDRIY SHEVCHENKO will get a last chance to save his Chelsea career today.
The Blues’ £30million striker plays his first Premier League game of the season against Blackburn. But Sheva’s Stamford Bridge career is almost certainly over if he fails to make an impact.
Boss Jose Mourinho said: “If you saw him play in August, you would understand why he was not playing for Chelsea. It’s not always about fitness. “It’s about whether a player does what the coach wants or fits in with team philosophy.”
Sheva, who scored for Ukraine in the 2-1 midweek defeat to Italy, claimed to have ‘no idea’ why he was being overlooked. The former AC Milan star has been snubbed by Mourinho despite recovering from a hernia op that caused him to miss last season’s FA Cup final.
Mourinho added: “I’m not sure why
he played well last Wednesday. Italy are the world champions — a team where he knew every one of the players. He knew the cameras and Italian eyes were on him so it it could be a special motivation for him. He worked very hard and played very well. Not just because of the goal but he also produced for his team, did his defensive work, and kept intensity in his game for 80 minutes. I was very happy with his performance.”
Sheva, 31, gets his chance because Didier Drogba has a knee ligament injury, while Claudio Pizarro only returned from international duty with Peru yesterday afternoon. Today’s clash is the first time the Ukrainian has made a Chelsea squad this season.

HOW DO YOU SOLVE A PROBLEM LIKE SHEVCHENKO?
One of the key objectives of the entire Pies team is to prod and poke for reaction and comment. And who would have thought picking on Shevchenko would provoke such a response? Almost every comment we received, via comment or email, regarding my previous post about Shevchenko’s performance in a Chelsea shirt was very much pro-Sheva and anti-Mourinho. And there were some very valid comments made.
Believe it or not, I don’t just believe, I KNOW Shevchenko is the best player at Stamford Bridge in terms of quality, calibre, personal accolades and more.
And he has proved his class time and time again for every club he has ever played for…except Chelsea.
So should he receive special treatment just because of what he has achieved in the past? My previous comments were harsh but the theme of the piece still rings true.
No matter what happens during his Chelsea career, Shevchenko will always be remembered as a legend of the game and he fully deserves so. But while he is a Chelsea player he needs to produce more.
This isn’t a retirement home. He came to Chelsea to compete and to win things but he has yet make the mark a player of his standing should.
Instead of using his remarkable past as a defence, we’re simply asking for something more for the present. And just like any other player who fails to produce the goods on the pitch, he should be open to criticism.
I agree with Gerri’s views on our site that Shevchenko has the disadvantage of not being Mourinho’s signing, but you can’t feel that unwanted if you also happen to be the owners’ most coveting player since the club was purchased.
The backbone of the team - Cech, Terry and Lampard - were not Mourinho’s or Ambramovich’s selections, but they perform and earned Jose’s respect. The gaffer may be a tad arrogant and egotistical but he’s not an idiot.
If a player performed but still wasn’t selected, the fans would get on his back. It would also cause unrest in the dressing room because players would know that it was more important to be in the managers’ good books than it is to perform.
Makalele’s treatment at Real Madrid is the perfect example of the unrest personal agendas would cause. The club refused to pay the player what he was worth because he did an ugly job, but the rest of the senior squad recognised his contribution as vital to the team.
When he eventually left for Chelsea many of the senior squad made it clear that Maka was treated unfairly by Real and their sentiments were repeated when the club failed to win anything the following season.
Sheva’s exclusion can’t just be a personal grudge. What player could feel comfortable in an atmosphere where you could be teachers’ pet one month, but hated the next?
We don’t know what happens in training but no one can deny the simple fact that he hasn’t yet shown form worthy of selection on the pitch.
Norman left a comment suggesting that most of Drogba’s success last season was down to Shevchenko’s influence - and he is right to a certain extent.
Drogba would not have scored as many last season playing as a lone striker, but it was the formation that complemented Drogba more than the personnel beside him.
Shevchenko provided passes and committed markers with intelligent runs, but so did Kalou who is a much lesser player, and Drogba still reaped the same rewards.
Steve and Chamira have left comments placing the blame primarily on the team’s style of play. Shevchenko knew the style of play at Chelsea and believed he could adapt. Why should Chelsea take the blame if it’s been more difficult than he expected.
Nobody felt sorry for many of our past players who struggled to settle. Again, his pedigree cannot be used to shield his performances.
Look at Joe Cole and Wright-Phillips. They are players with less ability than Sheva who don’t necessarily fit into Chelsea’s typical mould of player. Yet, they worked hard and are now flying.
In fact, rather than being stifled at Chelsea, they have improved. Even Arjen Robben believes the club was good for his development.
But the fact of the matter is this: With the African Cup of Nations approaching, Shevchenko will remain a Chelsea player for the rest of the season, so how can we make this work?
Nero has suggested on our site that Sheva should be used as a lone striker with wing support. But we tried that on a couple of occasions last year and Shevchenko struggled to beat defenders to passes and wasn’t strong enough to hold up the ball for on-rushing support.
Do we simply need to give Shevchenko the run of games that all strikers crave to get him back to his best, or do you agree with a majority of comments posted stating that the player should just move on?
